The PADI Wreck Diver course is a really popular course for many divers. Whether deliberately sunk as artificial reefs or as a result of an accident, wrecks provide a real window into history. Wrecks also attract loads of marine life so there is so much to see. Wrecks may include aircraft, vehicles, ships, boats even locomotives. Dive the SS Thistlegorm and you have a world iconic wreck full of life and exciting discoveries like the locomotive, rail tenders, lorries filled with motor cycles and live ammunition.
A PADI Wreck Diver learns skills to ensure diver safety and that wrecks are being dived responsibly. Certified divers must be aged 15 years or older and have earned a PADI Adventure Diver Certification or higher. You will learn techniques for exploring wrecks, how to avoid common hazards, how to research wrecks, wreck scuba diving equipment and considerations, techniques for entry safe penetration and exit, and of course proper dive planning.
Price includes all tuition including a DVD, materials and the PADI PIC (Licence Card), This course requires four dives over two days. Divecrew has enhanced this course way above PADI requirements (PADI Plus).
We recommend for this course divers have their own reels and torches. A dive computer is a must.
