Marsa Alam, Southern Red Sea

We will be flying directly into and out of Marsa Alam, with only 20 minutes transfer time. 

Flight is from Gatwick, South Terminal  Travelling on the 3rd September and returning on the 9^th September.

Hotel accommodation has been booked at Coral Beach. The Hotel is located directly on the beach of Marsa Alam, in close proximity to Marsa Alam Airport. The guest rooms are beautifully designed low-rise bungalows, laid out in a U-shape around the main swimming pool area. The area hosts a moderate climate in winter and summer, making it a year-round holiday choice.

With its own private sandy beach and house coral reef for snorkeling, the Coral Beach is a paradise for water lovers. The clear sea water, the coral reefs and its marine life make it a favored destination for divers, from beginners to professionals (Emperor Divers is located in this hotel). For water sports enthusiasts and for lovers of relaxation alike, the Coraya is an ideal resort choice for an unforgettable holiday.

All rooms are tastefully decorated with fully equipped bathroom with shower, private terrace or patio, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge, safe deposit box, hair dryer, fire alarm system and smoke detectors and individually controlled air-conditioning and heating. Electric current: 220 volts A/C. There is a choice of sea, pool or garden view.

 The 5 day boat diving package (daily guided trips, tanks, weights) will be with EmperorDivers. The Elphinstone and Dolphin House Reef dives are excursion trips to be paid locally.  

Those doing their advanced course will need to read the advanced manual.  We suggest reading be done prior to the holiday, as holiday time is precious and you may not feel like sitting around studying!  You may also need a torch, knife & watch; we have these in stock should you wish to buy them.

If you are worried about the cold water it is approx. 24/26 degrees centigrade, a full length 3mm is advisable, if you wish to buy a wet suit we have a good stock or rent a wet suit in the Red Sea, you may do so.

Note! If equipment required; 1 week hire £75 for regulator and BCD, these must be collected the day before departure. (Local hire cost is from £90).  Computers are available for a weeks hire £25 (let us know in advance)  

As for insurance, you must have diving/travel insurance and show proof of it to us on booking your holiday.  We do have some information on specialist diving insurers which we can arrange for you, so please contact Collin at the Dive Centre for further details.  

You will need a full passport, Don’t forget to get your vaccinations done - Strongly Advised.
