Description
The DSMB (Delayed Surface Marker Buoy) is a critical piece of diver safety equipment when diving in open water. In the UK a reel ratchet type may be most appropriate with over 30 metres of line. Overseas, a finger reel with 10 to 15 metres of line. Possibly a one breath frog? What would you choose?
Mid water and bottom deployments vary depending on conditions and circumstances of the dive. Do not rely on your guide. Experience shows many times the guide is separated from the group. You need to be seen in the water for your own safety. A DSMB is essential.
Price includes: all tuition, materials and the PADI PIC (Licence Card), free video analysis of deployment. This course requires two dives over one day. Divecrew has enhanced this course way above PADI requirements (PADI Plus). You will work with, and experience finger reels, ratchet reels, deploy mid water, deploy from the bottom, simulated night deployment, one breath deployment, surface deployment, entanglement strategies, reel jammed strategy, pro’s and con’s for differing types relative to your future diving. After this course you will be well versed in deciding on the very best safety equipment for you.
Site is usually Wraysbury.
