We will be flying into and out of Owen Roberts International Grand Cayman, with only a 40mins transfer time via one of our three hired cars. Our luggage will be collected by Ocean Frontiers and hand delivered to the resort upon check in.

 Flight details are to be confirmed by yourselves – as you will be booking these directly but the aim will be depart from Heathrow  on Saturday 12th May  on British Airways (as they fly direct to Grand Cayman) and returning to Heathrow on Sunday  20th May 2007. This approach of allowing you to book the flights means if you have collected Flyer mileage then you can book using this – or shop around for the best deal you can find. 

We will be staying in The Reef Resort – a 5 star beachfront suite resort located on the East end of the Grand Cayman. The resort offers hot tubs, swimming pools, Full Spa and more – see brochure and our website for more details and images. 

At the resort we will be staying in two bedroom suites with two bathrooms, lounge and Dinning areas and a fully fitted kitchen – with DVD, CD and washing facilities. The suites are on A room only basis but with a full restaurant serving food all day you can choose to self cater or eat out. A fantastic supermarket and Liquor store are located on site – so we can stock on fun foods and beers to avoid hitting the bar all the time – whilst waiting for happy hour to start to really enjoy the Caribbean fun.

                              We have explored the local restaurants and they range from Fine Dinning to Terrace local style – so plenty to cater for all needs – prices range from £25.00 per meal. 

The 5 day diving package (2 Tank AM daily boat trip, weights & guide) will be with “Ocean Frontiers” a 5 Star IDC centre. The dive centre is located some 5 minutes from the Reef Resort. The diving is full 5 star, with towels when you come out from the dive, the kit is washed every night for you and then the next day the kit is re-assembled – all you need to do it check it and analyse your tank if diving on Nitrox. The beauty of the AM dives is that it will leave plenty of time for sun worshippers or even more time to get in 2 or even three MORE dives each day.

The diving is awesome to coin an American word – but trust me it truly is – with swim through to die for – as dive sited named The Maze and Dragon’s Lair tempt you again and again.  Plus we have included a PM trip to the world famous Sting Ray City – dive and even feed the String Rays.                                                                                                                        

The water is a wonderful 27/28 degrees – so shorties will do – however if you are planning to do extra dives you might prefer a 3mm full length.

Note! If equipment required. 1 weeks hire £75 for regulator and BCD, these must be collected the day before departure. Computers are available for a weeks hire £ 25 (let us know in advance) 

As for insurance, you must have diving/travel insurance and show proof of it to us on booking your holiday.  We do have some information on specialist diving insurers which we can arrange for you, so please contact Collin at the Dive Centre for further details.  

You will need a full British passport, Don’t forget to get your vaccinations done - Strongly Advised.

The price includes staying in The Reef Resort in a two bed suite on a room only basis, Mid Size Car hire (4 to a Car), 10 dives and the String ray City excursion (to be arranged one afternoon).  

Remember you will need to arrange your own flights – but as a guide BA fly direct with prices around £680 per person.
