We will be flying directly into and out of Hurghada, with only 40mins transfer time. Flight details are to be confirmed but will depart from Gatwick South on 13th June and returning to Gatwick South either late evening on 20th June. Flight times are 11.15am on the 13th June - returning into LGW at 22.50 on the 20th.
Hotel accommodation has been booked at the “Movenpick Hotel”. This is a spacious hotel, ideally situated near the Zeytuna Beach. With pool, bars, choice of restaurants and within walking distance of the town. The hotel has been booked on a BB basis
The 5 day diving package (daily boat trip, tanks, weights & guide) will be with “Dive Tribe Diving ” a 5 Star IDC centre reputable operation. Lunch is available if required on the boat for about £4.00.
Those doing their advanced course will need to read the advanced manual. We suggest reading be done prior to the holiday, as holiday time is precious and you may not feel like sitting around studying! You may also need a torch, knife & watch, we have these in stock should you wish to buy them.
If you are worried about the cold water it is approx. 26/28 degrees centigrade, a full length 3mm suit is advisable, if you wish to buy a wet suit we have a good stock or rent a wet suit in the Red Sea, you may do so. Note! If equipment required.; 1 weeks hire £75 for regulator and BCD, these must be collected the day before departure. (local hire cost is from £90 ). Computers are available for a weeks hire £ 25 (let us know in advance)
As for insurance, you must have diving/travel insurance and show proof of it to us on booking your holiday. We do have some information on specialist diving insurers which we can arrange for you, so please contact Collin at the Dive Centre for further details.
You will need a full British passport, if you don’t have an Egyptian visa you may be required to pay for a one trip visa at Hurghada airport which usually costs approximately £10.00 or $10.00 each there is also now an exit visa costing £7.00. Don’t forget to get your vaccinations done - Strongly Advised.
