stands for "Nitrogen Enriched Oxygen". This enriched air replaces some
of the nitrogen you breathe underwater with oxygen, so that during a
dive you absorb less nitrogen than you would when breathing normal air.
This means that you have longer no-decompression limits, and can dive
longer for each depth than you could using air. The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is designed to teach you the procedures for safe recreational no-decompression diving with enriched air. The course covers the equipment and procedural concerns involving enriched air. You'll learn how to plan dives and determine your no-decompression limits and your oxygen exposure limits with enriched air. You'll learn the proper procedures for obtaining enriched air as well as the hazards associated with handling and diving with enriched air. The course consists of an evening lecture in the Dive Centre and then two optional open water dives. The cost includes all course materials.
We will also ensure you understand how to use your Dive Computer |
No need to dive in the UK to gain your certification
