Done your OWSI and wondering ...

IDC Candidates
What's Next?

If you've just completed your PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor then Congratulations! You've reached a huge milestone.
You can now teach PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue, Divemaster ... but wait a minute, what about all those interesting specialities?

If you would like to teach PADI Speciality Courses, you will need to apply for each Speciality Instructor rating individually - but you will need to have certified 25 divers, as well as prove that you've logged 20 dives in that speciality. Once you have five Speciality ratings, you can apply for the next level - your Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating!

Sound like it's going to take a long time?

That's why we offer the Divecrew MSDT Preparation course!

What's involved in my MSDT Course, and what will I get out of it?

The course is a 3-day course with a Course Director, who will pass on tips and hints in 5 Instructor Ratings with you. It includes hands on actual teaching techniques on how to teach the course. We know you know how to teach as you passed the IDC/IE but the art is not in the theory of teaching but the application of teaching.

Collin Miles, Course Director
"I will share all my teaching techniques and inside tips on how to actually run the courses on a real practical level. The application fees to PADI are reduced if you sign up with me and you can also benefit from a Special offer option and included in the course fees will be your own copy of the Speciality Manuals (on CD)." -- Collin Miles, Course Director

But the big reason for joining in the fun is that teaching Specialities immediately are more fun and means you can earn more money sooner.

At the end of your course, you will be able to teach 5 Specialties - e.g.:
