Holiday Update

Due to extra demand we are in the process of securing extra places on the following holidays – Marsa Alam in May, El Gouna in August. Let us know if you want to join in the fun. We still have spaces on the Maldives trip in November but please note that we have seen a lot of requests for information on the remaining places.

Don’t forget that Divecrew are also agents for Regal Dive and so we can help book your dive trip – and even get you a better price!

Last month’s announcement of  Tobago and Thailand as possibilities for 2013 have created a lot of interest – we are collecting names all the time – if you want to try something different then let us know.

We had 3 people join up to the new  holiday savings club – during the month – this simple idea allows you to decide how much to save each month and we will collect via standing order – plus when you join you get a 50% discount voucher of a Divecrew Trolley bag.

Club Diving Plans

Who says UK diving stops in the winter – not here at Divecrew. The first club day trip took place on the 29^th January – with a trip up to NADC – well done to Julio, Adam, Alan, Andrew and Mark for braving the water. More dates have been set for late Feb and March – check out the website UK dives

The planned trip to Plymouth continues to gather pace -  UK dives – 4 dives, overnight accommodation and an evening meal – all for£105.00. We are using a hard boat with a lift – so a great introduction to UK sea diving – we plan to dive the HMS Scylla and others. 5 places left. AOW and above please. Friday night option also available for £30.00. To date all people are travelling      down on the Friday so looks like will be a great weekend away.

Other new ideas we are working on for 2012 including linking up with the dive centre that Geoff R is running in Spain. Look out soon for the weekend deals he is working on at the moment. 

The plan will be to offer diving and accommodation packages with Geoff guiding and you book your flights direct into Alicante

Course News

Well done to Neil F on teaching his first Open Water course at the weekend, plus of course Congratulations to John and Daniel on completing their Pool training. John is going onto finish his course in Wraysbury on the 4/5^th Feb with Neil F. Joining John will be, Mogens and Williem. Hope the snow stays away!

All pools are now up and running including the newly refurbished Slough pool – be interesting to see what improvements they have made on the 19^th Feb when we are next in.

General Interest

Be the first  to submit an article to the website – perhaps thoughts on your last course or a interesting article you have found. Thanks to Tim W for sending in the first Video Clip – being honest he just wanted to try out his new housing in Reading pool but we don’t mind.

Thanks to all who made the Ice Skating on the 17^th Jan – a small but expert group lead by Terry took to the Ice in style.

This month see’s the social Club return to its usual location of Nine Mile Ride, but Esporta is now called Virgin Active. Food from 6.30pm and drinks from 8pm.

Help Promote Divecrew – we are always looking for people to put up posters in their work place – do let us know if we can send you some in the post. If you have an idea that you think might work here at Divecrew – then please let us know.
