Dive Crew MSDT Instructor Martin was the lead on a Dive Crew boat holiday to Hurghada last week. The trip was a mix of pleasure diving and three divers successfully completed their advanced with Martin. Two of the holiday divers Claire (now advanced - well done Claire) and Andrew (advanced) had never been on a Dive Crew holiday previously and provided the following feedback on the value to them as divers.
Claire and Andrew stated that diving with Dive Crew helped in taking any uncertainty and anxiety about the holiday and the diving away. The instructor provided help when required, tips, advice and assistance on improving diving skills.
Andrew stated he thought the key benefit of a Dive Crew holiday was being in the company of like minded people that facilitated a great social aspect to the holiday and of course very safe diving.
Claire felt the key benefits were meeting like minded people, great social time and a good diving experience, as well as picking up a lot of information about other places to dive. Claire said, ‘For someone who hasn’t done a diving holiday before it’s great to have the security of an experienced instructor and their knowledge’.
Both Claire and Andrew stated they felt safe diving with Dive Crew and had picked up lots of tips about diving techniques and preparation, helping to make them even better divers. 
Claire and Andrew would highly recommend a Dive Crew holiday. Andrew went on to say, ‘Yes, especially if you have not dived abroad before. The presence of an experienced Dive Crew instructor on holiday was invaluable both on diving aspects and also more generally’.
Andrew said, ‘Really enjoyed the Dive Crew Hurghada trip. Great diving, well led and it improved me as a diver. Would recommend it to anyone who has not dived abroad before and even those who have’.
Claire said, ‘For an inexperienced diver like me an organised trip has been a great way to get back into the swing of diving and has really improved my skills and confidence. It was great that there were a couple of other divers at a similar level to me. If everyone was a much higher standard it would have been more difficult. Fantastic trip, will definitely do another one!’.
Martin said, ‘This was a really great trip, fantastic company and out of this world diving on very pretty reefs. The three open water divers completed their advanced at the start of the holiday and it was a real pleasure to see the improvement throughout the week in their diving skills and confidence. Having led Dive Crew Red Sea experiences year on year, I still get a buzz seeing divers enjoying the best of the Red Sea, enjoying continued diving education and being part of a like minded group diving in safety with dive buddies looking out for them’.

Just wanted to say a big thankyou to Martin for looking after us in Hurghada and getting us through to Advanced. We had a great group who all got on well and we are greatful to the more experienced members for the help and encouragement. Steve has a world of diving experience and Andrew had some great stories. Martins teaching skills and patiance are second to none and we owe so much to him, of course it helps to have fantastic suroundings and warm water (29deg) and good viz (30-40m) This is our second Red Sea trip and we are already looking forward to the next.

I second what Tony has said – it was a fantastic trip and we were really well looked after by Martin. I am a convert to the Red Sea and am looking forward to the next trip. My aim is to get my inverted hovers as good as Tony and Cherry’s!
