Divecrew does Wraysbury mid winter night dive!
The rufty tufty divers of Divecrew do it again showing that this dive centre are producing a tough breed of scuba divers. So much so that on Wednesday night three brave soles, Simon Newton, Joel Osbourne, and led be yours truly, set out to explore the murk that is Wraysbury dive centre at night.
Despite early optimism about the water temperature being about 5 or 6 degrees after entering the water it clearly wasn’t! Made very apparent with plenty of explurlatives. So it is unsurprising that after 20 minutes we were beginning to feel the cold. So shortly after, the dive was called and we exited with a reasonable 30 minute dive.
Another very enjoyable experience for all to reminisce. And over a tall beer afterwards, shock, over the unanimously agreed 1DEGREE recorded water temperature. This is becoming a bit of a habit, Terry!
