Divecrew 15th Birthday

                              Divecrew celebrated it’s 15^th Birthday on the 24^th January

From humble beginnings in Frimley, Mark Ovenden and Caroline Bean started Berkshire Divecrew in their garage in the spring of 1995. After an exciting start, they quickly moved to premises in Camberley, where they opened the first dive centre, during the next 10 years – new centres were added, Chiltern Divecrew, Hampshire Divecrew, Surrey Divecrew and then final Divecrew itself was created to manage the 4 satellite centres.

The main dive centre moved twice, first to an industrial estate in Bracknell and then finally in 2001 – to its current location in central Bracknell.

In 2006 they handed over the reigns of the brand to Collin Miles and Middlesex Divecrew was added to the growing brand.

During the last 5 years, new strategic alliances with Blackrock Dahab and Sharm have been added as well as Collin Miles achieving the rating of Course Director allowing full instructor development programme to now be on offer – both here at Divecrew and in Dahab, Sharm and now The Seychelles. The final stage of the journey was completed when Divecrew was awarded the accolade of Career Development Centre in Jan 2010, one of only 9 UK centres.
