Well done to John, Clare and Paul who completed stage 1 of their Open Water course this weekend in Slough
Thanks to Martin and his team for their efforts.
Meanwhile out in the Open Water, Mark Nunn was completing his first Open Water weekend since passing
his OWSI. Doesn’t he look proud with his 4 new Open Water students.
They then all went on to complete the PADI Dry Suit Specialty.
So 9 certs from his first weekend of teaching – not a bad start.
Terry enjoying the delights of a Egg and Sausage sandwich. Tasteful cooked by Arthur.
Good old fashion diving food!!!
Jan helping Humphrey with the backward roll entry we use on Dive 3 of the Open Water course.
A special mention goes to Humphrey for his efforts and willingness to keep going. He managed to get wet on all 5 dives of the course – 7 degrees not the warmest of water but full credit to him for keeping a smile on his face.
During the late afternoon on Saturday – Penny arrived with her latest toy – a Full face mask and no idea on how to use it – joined John Seccombe who was trying to complete his DCP and caused mayhem!!!!.
Meanwhile Terry set about trying to be generally a bad student and making up his own direction and dive plan.
Other divers did head first descents – buoyancy issues and the umbrella from the deep made a special appearance.
Congratulations to John who has now completed his Dive master course – look out for him in his Green Polo shirt

Well done Humph dear bro, we can now go diving together in Egypt off Ras Mohammed. Water temp 28C and air 37C – that’s what I wrote in my log book and that was October! You’ll love it AND you’ll only use a ‘shortie’ not a wet ‘dry-suit’ xx
