So what have we been up to in the centre this week.
We kicked the week off with a visit from Terry Sands – always great to see Terry – over several coffees we put the world to rights talking about everything from the economic down turn to diving in Stoney Cove on Saturday 29th Dec. Why not check out some of the club dives we have planned for 2009. Seems that around 10 mad divers are venturing up to sample the delights of some winter diving. Then we were joined by Ivor Bradley – who came bearing gifts of Quality Street – a big Thanks to Ivor – we like sweets here in the centre. Richard Cullen also popped in for a quick chat – great to see him out and about after his recent operations.
So far everyone who has visited has commented on how great the new layout is – the open plan really works.
The shop sudden around 6pm got really busy and was buzzing with excited Christmas Shoppers – a couple off to the Maldives brought a Fuji F100 – do check out the features on our shop site
Tuesday – have been kept busy with the final preparations for the Maldives holiday in November – 12 very excited people looking forward to some Indian ocean paradise. Check out the Kuredu website for an insight into heaven www.kuredu.com
Visitors today included Stuart Barratt – again have not seen Stuart for several months – he has been really busy so great to catch up – he helped Penny with a recipe for cooking Goose – Stuart is a bit of a wizz in the kitchen – made us all very hungry.
Jon Martin and family popped in at the same time and signed up for the next EFR Course – and is very keen to join the first Learn to Dive Red Sea programme in July.
One of the several mad divers planning the 29th Dec trip – popped in to collect some kit – too cold for my likely – but then I checked the temperature of my trip to Canada and the temperature is -38degrees – so makes Stoney look positively warm.
