Just thought you might be interested in knowing that there is a new app for the iPhone called Dive Planner. Does exactly what it says on the tin except it is only in feet depth at the moment (probably American) full dive table calculator. There is also a Nitrox calculator available as well but the dive planner is what I was looking for!

Congratulations to Ian, Sam and Martin on passing their Instructor course on the weekend of the 17th and 18th August – some great scores where recorded!

Try Dive at Aldershot Lido

Thanks to Stuart Chitty for arranging an Try Dive session at the Aldershot Lido this week – 6 intrepid life guards tried Scuba for the first time in water that can only be described at chilly – 17 degrees. Hence Terry ran his first Try dive session in a Dry Suit – something we might consider for the future as a Dry Suit Try out session!!!
