I learnt to dive with Dive Crew in August 1997 in Portland Dorset - in fact the very weekend that Princess Diana died - so a date I will never forget. I was sick on my open water dives in the Harbour so not really sure why I ever continued - but I did and became an instructor in Nov 2003. I completed all my courses with Divecrew over the years and so decided to live the dream and came to work for Divecrew in May 2003. I loved ever minute of working in the dive industry that in Jan 2006 - I brought the Berkshire Dive Centre and Divecrew. I have worked my way up the PADI ladder and now have the Master Instructor rating along with almost every speciality PADI offers. I am also a DSAT Gas Blender. My favourite place to dive is a tie between Bonaire and the Maldives - Bonaire for the sheer relaxing diving and the Maldives for the opportunity to see some large things. However you will find me diving in the UK most months - 4 degrees is the best time to dive in the UK - some great Viz. PADI OWSI
DAN O2 Provider
I learnt to dive in the Red
Sea in May 2005. I loved doing my PADI Open Water course so much I went
straight on to complete my Advanced whilst still in Egypt. Back in the UK
I needed to find a dive club in order to experience the green waters of
the UK. After diving with a number of different organisations I chose
Divecrew to continue my diving education. In July 2007 I passed my
Instructor Exams at Stoney cove... the culmination of 2 years dedication,
hard work... but most of all, lots of fun!
My best dive... was in May
2007 on Jackson reef in the Straits of Tiran... I have never had a poor
dive on this reef as the currents are awesome.. but this dive was made
special by the appearance of a 2 metre long Grey Reef Shark about 10
metres out into the blue. It hung around for about a minute... but the
moment is captured forever on a DVD that everyone I know has been
subjected to!

I learnt to dive with Dive Crew
in June 2000 in Horsea Island and have worked my way up to the level of
Assistant Instructor. I completed all my courses with Divecrew as well as
almost every speciality PADI offers. My Partner, Carolyn learnt with
Divecrew in October 2006 and now works for Dive Crew as a Trainee
Divemaster. We both have Part 1 certificates in Foreshore and Underwater
Archaeology, both having a keen interest in the subject. My favourite place to dive is the Red Sea having dived in both Dahab and Sharm El Sheikh. However the majority of our diving is in the UK most weekends either by ourselves or working for Dive Crew. We are both members of Vobster Quay and so dive there on a regular basis. On our to do list is the Maldives, Florida Keys, Bonaire and the Great Barrier Reef. In May we'll be diving in Mexico on our Honeymoon!
