Want to be ready in an emergency? Then this program is for you! The EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROGRAM® program covers basic training for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and EAD and emergency care. In addition, it’s a medically based program covering primary care, secondary care and treatments following national consensus guidelines.

The program is designed for divers and nondivers, and also meets the CPR and first aid prerequisite for earning your  PADI Rescue Diver rating.

So if you’re seeking CPR/first aid training to meet a diving program requirement, for personal enhancement or for first aid in the workplace, this program is for you.

Why men kiss men.

These and other questions like ‘Why am I in a portakabin on a rainy Thursday night’ and ‘ Is it legal to grope a woman, who voluntarily lay down on the floor’ are all answered when you enrol on the PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Course run by The Dive Crew.

As someone who has re-discovered diving in my 40’s, I have done some pretty strange things since meeting the Dive Crew.  Let me confirm they are all legal, great fun and life affirming.  The driest subject, is the  EFR, but on reflection is probably the one course where you find yourself asking ‘ This can be used in so many situations – why have I not done this before?’

It is true however that I did kiss a man, albeit a dummy, when practising mouth to mouth. I did enter that portakabin, but we did agree that groping each other, was neither tasteful or appropriate.

Penny ran a great course, using examples, real stories and video to get across the important messages and techniques required to provide EFR to divers in distress. This PADI card confirms you can make a difference.
